Camping La Pineta, an easily accessible site
Are you arriving in Sardinia by plane or ferry? In each instance, Camping La Pineta is located in an area that is easily reached from the main ports and airports. For those arriving from Cagliari Airport, you can reach Bari Sardo thanks to public transportation. At the airport, we can provide you with information, or you can call us and we will provide you the bus schedules. You can also choose the long-distance taxi at a great price. For those arriving at the campground without a personal or rented vehicle, we remind you that the public transportation network has limited options when it comes to commuting freely around the region.

How to reach the campground by car
From Cagliari (Cagliari-Elmas Airport)
Road: SS 125 | km: 133
Time: 1h e 45 minuti
Route: Exit the airport. After 1 km, keep right and head toward Cagliari, passing in front of the Metro store. After 500 metres, keep right and head toward Villasimius, passing under the bridge and keeping right again toward Villasimius. You are on SS 554 and must continue for 14 km until you reach a large roundabout. Take the third exit toward Villasimius. Follow the panoramic road along the sea for 15 km. After the village of Terra Mala, take the second exit of the roundabout toward Muravera-Tortoli. You are now on SS 125. Continue northward for 70 km passing by Castiadas, Muravera, Tertenia, and Cardedu. Continue for 3 km and take the exit toward Bari Sardo. Once you are in the commune, turn right at the intersection with a small statue. Follow the signs and you will arrive at the campground in a few minutes.
From Porto Torres (port)
Road: SS 131; exit ramp 131/Nuoro – Nuoro/Lanusei km: 255
Time: 2h e 45 min
Route: Take SS 131 toward Cagliari. After approximately 90 km, you will find at Abbasanta signs for Nuoro: take the bridge on the right, which will bring you on the other side of the road. Continue until you reach Nuoro’s industrial area. Follow the signs for “Nuoro – Lanusei – Arbatax” (by passing through a tunnel approximately 1 km long). Continue along the highway until Lanusei (for about 1 h 15). After having crossed the commune, follow the signs for Cagliari – Bari Sardo. You will arrive in Bari Sardo in approximately 20 minutes. Enter the commune, follow Vittorio Emmanuele road, and then take Cagliari road, which will bring you almost outside the commune. Turn left at the intersection with a small statue. Follow the signs for Camping La Pineta.
From Olbia (port and airport)
Road: Olbia/Nuoro-Nuoro/Lanusei | SS 125 km: 195
Time: 2h
Route: Exit Olbia with the sea on your left. After approximately 15 km, you will find signs for Nuoro. Follow Nuoro. The Olbia-Nuoro road has four lanes, but you must pay attention: there are no crash barriers between the lanes, and the road is not alway in good shape. It is therefore best to be careful and to respect the speed limits. After 55 km, you will arrive at Nuoro’s industrial area. Follow the signs for “Nuoro – Lanusei – Arbatax” (by passing through a tunnel approximately 1 km long). Continue along the highway until Lanusei (for about 1 h 15). After crossing the commune, follow the signs for Cagliari – Bari Sardo. You will arrive in Bari Sardo in approximately 20 minutes.
